Day 01 Kochi – Munnar

About Munnar (Latitude 10.0892° N, Longitude 77.0597° E)
Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar town is situated in the Kannan Devan Hills village in Devikulam taluk. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years will bloom next in 2018.
Pick up from the Kochi Airport and proceed for Munnar, Enroute you can see and enjoy Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara waterfalls. On Arrival, check in to the hotel, overnight stay @ Hotel.
Day 02 Munnar Sightseeing
Munnar is perhaps the choicest of places to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects of the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala’s high ranges. With special emphasis to Munnar, and to the delight of tea lovers and tourists, Tata Tea recently opened a Tea Museum which houses curious, photographs and machinery, each depicting a turning point that contributed to a flourishing tea industry, as seen today in the region.
After breakfast at Hotel, Proceed for sightseeing @ Munnar, which includes, Rajamala national Park, Tea Museum, Kundala dam, Echo Point, Mattupetty dam etc…In the evening return back to Hotel Overnight Stay @ Hotel.
Day 03 Munnar – Thekkady
The morning after breakfast, Checkout Hotel & proceed to Thekkady. About Thekkady (Latitude 9.5330 ° N, Longitude 77.2000 ° E)
Thekkady in Kerala State, India ‘s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting India. The 120 years old ‘Surki’ dam built across Periyar, Poorna in the Vedic parlance, is a major tourist attraction. This sanctuary is spread over an area of 777 Sq.Kms, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 Sq.Kms..
On Arrival check-in at your Hotel, relax for some time then proceed for sightseeing @ Thekkady, which includes, Periyar wild life sanctuary and Spice Markets etc.. In the evening return back to Hotel Overnight Stay @ Hotel.
Day 04 Thekkady – Alleppey
The morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. About Alleppey (Latitude 9.4900° N, Longitude 76.3300° E)
Alappuzha – still more romantically known as Alleppey – is the hub of Kerala‘s backwaters, home to a vast network of waterways and more than 1000 houseboats. Wandering around the small but chaotic city centre, with its modest grid of canals, you’d be hard-pressed to agree with the ‘Venice of the East’ tag. On arrival check in at houseboat. You can enjoy Backwaters & Paddy Fields, Beaches, Narrow Canals & Backwater Village. Overnight in Houseboat.
Day 05 Drop off @ Cochin airport
In the morning after breakfast, Check-out from the Houseboat. According to your departure timing, shopping tour in Cochin can be arranged, Drop at Airport according to Departure Time.
