Package Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Cochin & Transfer to Munnar

On arrival in Cochin, proceed for Munnar. On the way, stop at a restaurant for lunch.
On arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel. You may visit the local market on your own and buy aromatic tea from market. Return hotel to spend a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 02 Munnar Sightseeing

After enjoying breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar. Also, visit Eravikulam National Park to get the views of the variety of flora and fauna. In the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam along with Echo Point. Enjoy dinner and a relaxed overnight stay at the hotel.
Tea Museum: This is an exclusive tea museum, which has purpose to showcase the growth of the age old tea plantations in this region.
Eravikulam National Park: It is one of the popular wildlife reserves of Kerala and a national park that is spread over an area of 97 Km². The park enjoys multitude of flora and fauna and supposed to be a treasure of Kerala Tourism.

Day 03 Munnar to Thekkady and Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy an early breakfast and check out of the hotel. Drive to Thekkady and check into the hotel on arrival. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady.
Later in the evening, visit the theatre to enjoy a firsthand experience of arts and crafts through the traditional Kalari Show.
After that, enjoy shopping or go for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel. Have dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Periyar Lake: Situated in the heart of the forest, Periyar Lake is recognized for nurturing a wide species of wildlife. One can enjoy boating on this lake, which serves as the reservoir of the dam and provides water to the forest.
Kalaripayattu: It is the mother of all martial arts (Kalari Show). This martial art was originated in Kerala during 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD. The word kalari firstly appeared in Sangam literature.

Day 04 Spice Plantation Tour – Thekkady to Allepey

After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel in Thekkady and enjoy spice plantation tour of an hour. You can also go for spice shopping (on direct payment basis). After that, proceed to Allepey and check in to the houseboat on arrival. Spend the rest of the day there. Enjoy lunch, dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 05 Allepey to Kovalam via Trivandrum

After having breakfast, check-out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam via Trivandrum. On the way, take your lunch on direct payment basis. Later, visit Napier Museum and zoological park (Closed on Mondays). In the evening, proceed towards Kovalam. On arrival, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Napier Museum: It is an art and natural history museum. The museum displays a rare collection of archaeological and historical artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings.
Zoological Park: Spread over an area of 55 acres covering woodland, lakes, and lawns, it is the oldest zoo in Asia. It is home to 82 species of animals from all over the world.

Day 06 Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam by Road

After having breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari following 87 km distance one way. Visit attractions like Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, and the beautiful statue of Tiruvalluvar, and confluence of 3 oceans. Return to Kovalam by evening and spend time on leisure. Overnight stay will remain at the hotel.
Kumari Amman Temple: The main deity of the temple is Devi Kumari Amman (Parvati) – a virgin incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple features a black stone image of the virgin deity with a diamond nose ring sparkling in the dark chambers.
Vivekananda Rock Memorial: Sited in the middle of the ocean over a rock, the memorial is dedicated to Swami Vivekanand – a great social reformer of India.
Gandhi Mandapam: It was built in the year 1956 in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. Ashes of Gandhi were dispersed in the sea in Kanyakumari and this temple is built at the same place.

Day 07 Departure from Trivandrum

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport to board your onward flight
